“Doing I.T. Right”
Angelo State University (ASU) has awarded Computer BYTES the Preferred Vendor Contract for Personally Owned Computers for the 2003-2004 school year. All faculty, staff, and students are welcome to come by our store to receive a FREE 7′ CAT5e blue or yellow Ethernet cable at any time.
A representative from the San Angelo Standard Times notified us this afternoon that Computer BYTES was voted San Angelo’s Favorite Computer Store for 2003, and runner-up for Favorite Rent-To-Own Store. We would like to extend a big “thank you” to our customers for their support, and we’re honored that you took the time to vote for us.
If you use Windows XP/2K/2K3/NT and have been experiencing problems with reboots after getting an error message dealing with “remote procedure calls”, download and run this tool from Symantec. Microsoft has detailed information on the problem, so be sure to check it out.
Computer BYTES finds its way into the local newspaper again! We worked closely with a local school to assist them with student incentives. You can read more about it here.
